Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: June 9, 2026. This charter governs all refund, diagnostics fee, and component return requests for our residential & commercial clients in Agra.
General Terms
At camX, we pledge complete transparency in our billing operations. Our refund policy is designed to protect both the client’s investments and cover diagnostic logistics fees fairly. Please read the terms below to understand how refunds are evaluated for cameras, spare parts, installations, and repairs in Agra.
1. Installation Services Cancellation
We understand plans can change. Our cancellation rules for CCTV setups are:
- Pre-Dispatch Cancellation: 100% refund of any booking advance if cancelled at least 2 hours before the technician departs for your premises.
- On-Route Cancellation: If cancelled after the technician is on their way, the ₹249 visiting fee is deducted, and the remaining advance is refunded.
- Post-Installation: Once cabling and mounting are completed, installation charges are non-refundable. Hardware issues are covered under the standard warranty.
2. Repair & Diagnostic Services
For standalone emergency repair requests, diagnostic charges are structured as follows:
- Visiting Fee Mandate: The ₹249 visiting fee is strictly non-refundable once our technician arrives on-site and performs system diagnostics.
- Visiting Fee Adjustment: If you approve the repair quotation and the final bill exceeds ₹1,000, the ₹249 visiting fee will be adjusted (credited) inside your bill.
3. Hardware & Component Purchases
Products purchased directly from our CCTV Component Store are eligible for returns:
- 7-Day Return Windows: Unused, uninstalled, and sealed hardware in its original packaging can be returned within 7 days of purchase for a 100% refund.
- Dead-on-Arrival (DOA): Any camera, DVR, NVR, or power supply found defective within 48 hours of installation will be replaced immediately with brand-new OEM hardware.
- Exclusions: Custom-cut cables/conduits and opened/activated software licenses are not eligible for returns.
4. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
Refund policies regarding Annual Maintenance Contracts are:
- Cooling-Off Period: 100% refund within 14 days of subscribing to an AMC, provided no site maintenance visits or emergency repairs have been completed.
- Pro-Rated Refunds: After 14 days, AMC plans are non-refundable, except under extreme circumstances approved by the founder's office.
5. Refund Processing Timelines
Once a refund request is officially approved by our billing department:
- Method of Payment: Refunds are credited back to the original source (UPI, netbanking, or credit card) used during the transaction.
- Processing Window: Bank transfers take 5-7 business days to reflect in your account.
- Cash Bookings: For cash-on-site transactions, refunds are processed via UPI transfer within 24 hours of hardware return validation.
